Col. Arkadiusz Kosowski, M.D., Director of the Military Health Service Department of the Ministry of National Defence, underscoring the role of the Armed Forces in the civil protection system.

Presence of Services and Institutions Confirms Shared Priorities

The ceremony was also attended by representatives of the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves, the Territorial Defence Forces, the Police, the Air Force, the State Forests, the State Sanitary Inspectorate, as well as many regional and local government authorities. Their presence confirmed that effective civil protection requires the cooperation of all state institutions.

PROTEGA — Responding to the Challenges of the New Act

The premier edition of the PROTEGA Trade Fair was created in response to the needs defined by the new Act on Civil Protection and Civil Defence, in force since 2025. The fair, together with the accompanying congress, provides a space for knowledge exchange, presentation of technologies and building cooperation between entities responsible for public safety.

Following the official opening, the first congress panel took place under the title: “Challenges and Directions for the Development of Civil Protection and Civil Defence in Poland, ”featuring members of the Honorary Committee and invited experts.
